Sequin Glam Composition Book

Hello Expo International Friends! This is Rina from Mothership Scrapbook Gal. I am so happy to share a Back to School Composition Book idea – this one is “Sequin Glam”. I liked this idea because you can make a personalized notebook for school or as a gift. This would also make a great guestbook for a wedding or art studio. Let’s get started with our supplies list:

Supplies:

Expo International – Sequins 6MM Slung Flat 100 Yard Roll - Pink

Expo International – Sequins 6MM Slung Flat 100 Yard Roll - Red

Expo International – Sequins 6MM Slung Flat 100 Yard Roll – Royal Blue

Composition book

1 sheet of scrapbook paper

Hot Glue Gun and glue sticks

Double sided adhesive (for paper cover)

Scissors

Step 1: Begin by cutting your scrapbook paper to fit the top of your composition book.

Step 2: Adhere the scrapbook paper to the top of the composition book using double sided adhesive. TIP: You should use hot glue for the side that you will put the sequins on, to ensure that the sequins will be securely on the book.

Step 3: Add your sequins along the border first once the paper is on your composition book. You will need to quickly add your sequins onto your hot glue, be careful when you do this. I used a pair of scissors to help move the sequins into place once I put them onto the hot glue. 

Step 4: Add the sequins for the heart shape (or whatever shape you want to make). TIP: Cut the sequin strips before and don’t skimp – you can always trim down your sequins. Be sure that your sequins are all on hot glue so you don’t have to worry about sequins falling off!

Step 5: Head to school in style with your Sequin Glam Composition Book!
